Given for a class assignment, the objective was to have this portal represent a certain theme through surfacing. Because I wanted to focus on wear, rust, and the evolution of paint over time, I automatically thought of the materials that old amusement park car rides were made of.

As someone who had no surfacing experience prior to taking this accelerated class, I'm so fortunate that I had the opportunity! Since then, I have been able to apply what I have learned from this class to video games, short films, and environment pieces.
